Nonprofit Resource Center of Alabama (NRCA) - a membership organization open to any nonprofit in Alabama. The Resource Center is Alabama's only centralized source of information, programs and services specifically designed to meet the needs of Alabama's nonprofit community. The Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham - a grantmaking organization with assets of more than $125 million at year-end 2004. Grantmaking includes millions of dollars each year to nonprofit organizations, primarily in the greater Birmingham area, including Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Blount and Walker counties.
